Michelle Brillouet, started practising at the Iyengar Yoga Institute London UK in 2004, after trying an array of different styles that would compliment Contemporary and Classical Dance. Through the practice of Iyengar Yoga relief was finally found for her knee and shoulder injuries and has since forever looked forward. Not only were the physical benefits a driving force but also the beauty found within the philosophy of the system that allows us to “Glimpse the divinity within” has been a continuous energy in the deepening of her practice. This philosophy has carried over in her work with Young Offenders, Youth Arts and Community work.
